Rudoc Airport

A local bustling airport, where holiday makers jet set off to the four corners of the world and more. A mall is inside it, along with cafes and parfumeries. A great spot to chillax before a holiday, or just to gate crash the mall. Luxurious lounges and towers of sweets are dotted around, along wiith the bourding lounges and gates. A private section of the airport is off limits to those who dont fly by private jet.

Set in the suburbs so as not to hit any tall buildings or cause too much havoc with everyday life. Only has two runways, so the airtraffic is quite light.

I skidded in through the giant glass doors panting. Having run from the apartments, I panted and slumped down onto a nearby bench. Looking at the screen it read:- Aberdeen 7 mins till departure... Moscow 13 mins till departure
I slapped my hand to my face and jumped up again, looking from my ticket to the surrounding gates. Laughing, I read the map.
"he... he... hey guys! It say... says that gate 14 is... on te opposite side of the building, but no fear, I have a plan!" I grabbed a suitcase trolley, shoved Kat on it and sat down myself. I looked back with a devilish glint in my eyes, flashed a child-like smile, and sped off down the hall. I really loved stuff like this, so imature, but so fun! maybe girls hated it... maybe they secretly loved it... maybe they enjoyed it just like me! who cared though! I laughed and pushed my foot along the ground like a skateborad.

"I have a better idea.." Jamie got off, and ran. Fast. All the way, she was pulling the cart at top speed, startling many.

Max ran after us, laughingly, he was barely able to keep up. I burst into histarics. The wind in my hear probly made me look like a dork even more than usual, my shirt ruffled in the breeze. Max's hair was blown back by his own volosity.
"Hurry! We gotta escape the new species of monster! The Maxwolf!"

I grinned, and picked up a bunch of flyers, throwing them into the air and sending them fluttering down behind us. Everyone stared at the four young people causing havoc in the air port! hehehe... ah fun... Skidding outside the gate, I stretched, got up and sauntered over to the gate holder, panting through exitement. She stared at me, took my ticket, stamped it and returned it, still staring. Grinned sheepishly at her and waited for the rest of them.

I giggled a bit as i fell from the dizzyness. Max halped me up ans=d we walked up and showed our tickets and waited in the doorway for Jamie

I groaned and walked up next to Kat, making sure to hand my ticket to the lady.

"Oh come on" i nudged her friendily. "I've never been to Germeny. . . Thats where we're going right?" i laughed at my bad memory

Hitting her over the head with a flyer I corrected
"Nu-uh! Its russia! you need to sort it out up-stairs if you know what I mean!"
I watched Jamie as she stared expressionlesly at us. She just couldnt lighten up at the moment! Darn soul-snatcher, I will wring his neck! I laughed and sat down waiting for our call to board sounded.

I sighed and sat down, waiting for them to call us.

As they called us, Max and i stood up at the same time.
"Come onnnnnn!" i play whined

I leaped up and ran into the queue, knocking into a rather large woman and her suitcase who glared at me like I was a piece of dirt on her shoe... I grinned back and stood behind her, panting.
"QUIIICK! before the queue gets big!" I showed my sharp canines and grinned.

I rolled my eyes.
"what seats are we?" i asked no one in genral.

"I have no idea." I mumbled, racing ahead to catch up with the two. I was beginning to turn drowsy.

I hissed as I saw Jamie begining to lag. Turning back I stood behind.
Wait... if she is becoming drowsy, then this soul snatcher must be aware of it... hes draining her even more...
I flashed a look at Kat. "E23-27 are our seats! Go save them, we'll be back in a min!"
I turned and faced Jamie, taking in a deep, shaky breath. I swear I promised myself I wouldnever do this again... not after I had lost one before during this...
"Right, sit down, and totally clear your thoughts... I didnt want to do this but its a last resort! Jamie, im going to have to enter your mind, but I will only be observing you will be in total control of your body unless it gets too intense then I will come in, but it dosent always happen!"
I sat on a bench opposite her and closed my eyes, sending foward my pheromone waves and entering her confused mind... encasing the rift in the waves and lulling the body.
Dont get distracted... you'll lose her... just keep it
I opened my eyes again, and blinked against ther harsh light, grinning at Jamie.
"There! see, im just a presence, nothing to it... I will only step in if he begins to harm your soul, mentally and physically. Its totally safe!" I reasurred her, smling falsely.
Concentrait... dont lose her... she could never return... keep it going...

I looked confused to Balto, scratching my head. I was feeling really moody all of a sudden, and my past memories - which I never told anyone - rushed past my mind.

I hesitated, but knew i should leave. They needed to be alone. . . well as alone as they could get in a semi busy airport. I pulled Max into the plane with me, finding our seats.
"I hope it goes okay" i muttered, overhearing a few of Balto's thoughts.

I grinned and ruffled Jamies hair. Despite the fact that last time I did this I was only five, and that I lost the patient, I felt confident! Plus I had found a way to prevent myself from sifting through the persons memories, even if they couldnt recall them.

Grabbing Jamie by her hand, I led her through the pushing crowd as it could get confusing soon. Pulling her close I led her down the plane and plopped in the seat next to Kat, still grinning.
"It went perfect! no distractions, a clear mind! Ive got her... Now James cant harm her anymore, while I'm in her mind. He will..." I winced and let out a little yelp.
"... he will hurt me now. And he'll suss out that its not Jamie's weaker frragile frame of mind, and hit me harder. I bet he will guesswho I am now..."
I trailed off and winced again as James buffeted me with another spasm of mental pain. I fought back, and watched jamie's now peaceful face. I chuckled and sighed.
Its well worth it though... to see Jamie at peace again, without pain... taking the pain from her shoulders is well worth it. At least I can do this much for her.

this doesnt mean you get to hog him when we beat his butt! i snickered telapathicly to him.
I layed my head back, more at peace now.

I grinned and looked around at tthe array of buttons on my seat arm. Pushing down on one, my head-phone slot opened, and I plugged in the supplied head-phones... Crap channels though... oh well! I concentrated on jamie again, putting my energy into her mind and watching the swirls and spirals of confusion swim aroung her thought tracks. God it must be hard without a purpose, or soul...
Psh... like Im going to stop the Kat deamon... But I call dibs on his head! I have a few words Id like to exchange before his lights go out!! I thought, knowing Kat would be bored and tuned in to the minds around us.

I only remember being washed over by memories, pulled by Balto, and siting down. I still felt depressed and agitiated. It wouldn't help.. wouldn't go away. No matter how hard Balto tried, the searing boredom and depression stayed. I sighed and looked out the window.

"I swear, imma find a good meadow we can just run in. Running always frees your heart, if only for a bit"
i stated plainly. I plugged in my headfones and tuned into classical music.

I winced as James threw another mental punch at me, but as they continued my presence grew weaker... I couldnt hold it up for long... he had grown much more powerful than he was... Jamie would begin to feel them again, and then i would just black out, slipping away from her mind. And if i threw ones back It could damage Jamie... no risking that here! I sighed and felt the momentum of the plane running along underneath me, slipping... further... taking her with me... 10 minuites and I was lights out, sleeping like a dead log...

I nudged Balto, "You ok?" I asked worriedly. We were barely out of the state now, and we could have drinks and meals. I nudged him harder.

"Common Balt!" i nudged him to. Max turned around in his seat infront of us and asked me "He okay?"
"Just tired i guess" i replied worridly
