Moon Fall MT.

"Lets wait for Grasswind" i barked.

"Sorry.. just don't want Cloud to fall behind." I had to nudge her a couple times to move up.

"Its ok, its just this is the pup's first time traveling very far."

"True.."
I could see them panting a bit, some stopping to rest.

I could see Grasswind coming back, a smile on her face.
"The clearing just ahead is perfect, there is small enough game there that the pups can handle it."
"Lets go!" Ice barked, taking off. I ran after her, making sure she was to stay safe.

I pushed the pups along to the clearing, spotting a weak foal that would be perfect for the pups.

Ice seemed to become more and more outgoing. She ran straight for a larger rabbit. She caught it, but seemed unsure how to kill it.
"You can bite it's throat or snap its neck," i barked, padding up to her.
"But. . . Its so weak. . . Wouldnt it be unfair to kill it just because we are stronger?" she asked. She made a good point.
"That would be if you were fighting" i explained, "But when you are hunting, it is for survival, not just for bloodshed."
"ok?" she still looked hesitant, but she bit into its throat.
"Go ahead, take a bite of your first kill," i said proudly. She took a small bite and looked up.
"It tastes good in a funny way."
"You'll learn," i laughed, "Dont worry little one, you'll get used to it"

I saw Free head straight for a rabbit, killing it with a snap ofthe next. He howled (or yipped) in victory and too a bite out of the rabbit,
"Deeelicious!"

While Ice wa still eating, i glanced over my shoulder to see Cloud, just kinda standing there. She noticed me looking then headed for a squirrel in a tree. She made an amazing jump, reaching the branch that the rodent was on. The branch was about in the middle of the tree. She caught it with ease and jumped back down, landing with a soft thump and grace. I've only seen that kind of jumping in werwolves, and they have it as an extra power. I left Ice to her rabbit for a bit and padded to Grasswind.
"Did you see Floating Cloud jump?" i asked
"Oh, yes. She has been great at that lately."
"did you mate with a werwolf?" i asked, astounded

My ears perked up as I waited for a reply from Grass. She was mumbling a bit, undecided.

"He was kind. . . But right after the pups were born, he disapeared." she murmered.
"There arnt many werpups. . . I wonder if they can turn human. . ." i doubted it but it has happened once before.

I looked at Freerun. He was much more muscular than a normal wolf pup.

I knew Ice was destined for something. But one more glance at her, and i could tell she was a Healer.

I looked at Cloud. She looked normal.. Ice was a Healer, Freerun was destined to be a Warrior, but whar was Cloud going to be.?

"Winged" i gasped. Ive heard of born werwolves that jump high easily before they are told they are a werwolf. when they turn into a wolf, they have wings.

I didn't gasp. I just watched Cloud It made sense, since her name was Floating Cloud. But what woul other wolves think..?

I looked over at Grasswind.
"If the pack does not aprove of them having powers, you may have to leave." i put it as simple as i could

I sighed, "Clov, I'm going back to the apartments. Being in this form for too long makes me feel anxious, for some reason." I too off, waving, going back to the Grandstate Apartments. The moon was somehow already in the sky.

"I must go to. Sorry Grasswind! I'll be back within a moon!" with that i ran off. I would be late for school.
